Organisers of the Tokaj Advent Run are inviting keen runners to get dressed up for a fun Carnival Run in Szerencs. There's a search for the best costumed runners and their teams! They welcome those less sporty too, those who are not regular competition runners - the aim is not striving for results but a great atmosphere.

Wines of Hungary UK’s Furmint February tasting is back in 2023 for its fifth iteration. Around 100 Furmint wines will be available to taste on Monday 20th February at Vintners’ Hall, London EC4. This year’s event will feature a pre-release snapshot of the dry wines from the fantastic 2021 vintage – a world première of this new vintage from Hungary, and the tasting will continue to build the story of Tokaj’s historic vineyard classification.

A couple of years ago the old typographers old on the former main street in Sárospatak was completely renovated into a stylish winery with a funky garden area overlooking the river Bodrog and concert space.
