A couple of years ago the old typographers old on the former main street in Sárospatak was completely renovated into a stylish winery with a funky garden area overlooking the river Bodrog and concert space.

One of the youngest societies in the Tokaj Wine Region, Trautsons in the lovely Swabian village Hercegkút, offers an Easter tour in the surrounding Zemplén Hills and a wine tasting. Meet at 1 pm in front of the Village Museum in Hercegkút.
The walk takes you to the Study Trail created in 2013 and lovingly tended recently - with a now traditional stop for lard frying over the fire!

A weekend of wine, enchantment and friendship in a sparkling mood! Why witchy weekend? Historical sources tell us it was in Tarcal where, in 1100, the Hungarian king Coloman the Learned declared a law prohibiting the persecution of strigae – vampires or mares – because they “do not exist”.

Tolcsva is the land of mansions. And the noble event on 27 May brings you the opportunity to explore a couple of classic buldings that have been beautifully restored.
