After some unusual turns in recent times, the winemakers are back at the normal time for Furmint February Grand Tasting, in Budapest as usual, but at a new venue: the Hungarian Heritage House. The tasting is truly a superb opportunity to explore one of the widest ranges of Furmints you’ll ever be able to taste in one place – and that’s over 200 Furmints to choose from, most often poured by the winemaker themself! It may well be the greatest selection of the year! In 2020 winemakers from Tokaj, Somló, Balaton and other areas – including Szeremség (Serbia) and Rust (Austria) poured their Furmints (dry, late harvest, and Tokaji Aszú) for your delight. An excellent chance to explore this exciting grape which is attracting increasing attention around the world.
