Witchy weekend, Tarcal 2024

Tarcal

A weekend of wine, enchantment and friendship in a sparkling mood! Why witchy weekend? Historical sources tell us it was in Tarcal where, in 1100, the Hungarian king Coloman the Learned declared a law prohibiting the persecution of strigae – vampires or mares – because they “do not exist”.

This family-friendly fun weekend is based around folk culture, womanhood and, naturally, wine. Events will be published soon. And here are just some of the venues: 6 Puttonyos Wine Villge, Reformed church, synagogue, Terrapolis permaculture garden) and wineries Basilicus Borkultúra Központ, Degenfeld Castle Hotel and Winery, Dorogi Testvérek, Kern, Kikelet, Majoros Birtok, Matyisák-Vízkeleti Borászat, Myrtus, Pataky Borporta, Tokajicum Borház, the former Royal Estate Centre and cella
