Organisers hope to spark a series of events, a summer festival in the town of Tokaj. A place where gastronomy, culture, wine, sport, healthy lifestyle and music are in focus. They dreamed of a festival where all ages find their place, whether alone or in larger groups.

So what’s the festival about?

Tokaj town and its peopple, the culture and assets, way of life and of course Tokaji wine!

It’s a presentation of the Tokaj Wine Region’s wine culture, the gastronomy of Tokaj and the various highlights of the town. Plus the achievements of people living in the town. An attempt to bring Tokaj and Tokaji wines to the people. To show locals just what a wonderful place they live in and that it should be passed on. To show tourists our true hospitality and what Tokaj means. To nurture traditions originating hundreds of years ago, the wine culture and the built and natural beauty.

Organisers – who look forward to receiving ideas and suggestions – say to locals, “Let’s show Tokaj’s best, make our town more interesting and show ourselves to the wider world!”
