Celebration of St Vincent’s day here in Mád, the blessing of the vines.

The full-day programme of events takes place in Mád at the wineries of Demetervin, Holdvölgy, Szent Tamás and Zsirai.

9.30 – Meet in front of Nőtelen ház, pálinka tasting to start (Mád, Ibolya u. 2.).
10.00 – Meet at the top of Szent Tamás dűlő vineyard. Host István Szepsy Sr.
Then Vincent’s Day vine pruning:
– treasure hunt
– blessing of the vines by the village Catholic and Reformed ministers
– mulled wine in the vines

Cellar visits in groups of 25 to four wineries where you will taste 3 wines.
Participating wineries: DemeterVin, Holdvölgy, Szent Tamás and Zsirai Winery
– 11.30 First winery, cellar visit, 3 wines
– 13.00 Lunch (not included in price)
– 15.00 Second winery, cellar visit, 3 wines
– 16.30 Third winery, cellar visit, 3 wines, bites to eat
– 18.00 Fourth winery, cellar visit, 3 wines
– 19.30 Dinner

Saturday programme: 9,000 HUF/person. Price does not include food.
