Celebration of St Vincent’s day here in Mád, the blessing of the vines.

A new feature for the event: wine tasting with several Mád Circle producers.

Saturday 20th January 2018
9.30 – Meet in front of Nőtelen ház, pálinka tasting to start (Mád, Ibolya u. 2.).
10.00 – Meet at the top of Szent Tamás dűlő vineyard, cutting the Vincent Day vine canes. Host István Szepsy Sr.
Then:
– treasure hunt
– blessing of the vines by the village Catholic and Reformed ministers
– mulled wine in the vines

Cellar visits in groups of 25 to four wineries where you will taste 3 wines.
Participating wineries: DemeterVin, Holdvölgy, Szent Tamás and Zsirai Winery
– 11.30 First winery, cellar visit, 3 wines
– 13.00 Lunch
– 15.00 Second winery, cellar visit, 3 wines
– 16.30 Third winery, cellar visit, 3 wines, bites to eat
– 18.00 Fourth winery, cellar visit, 3 wines
– 19.30 Dinner

Price for the Saturday programme is 7,200 HUF/person. The price does not include lunch or dinner!
