As a cultural centre of the Tokaj wine region, Sárospatak is a leader in the celebration of International Music Day as (mainly local) musicians turn out in force to bring sweet sounds to the whole town!

Venues during the day are the Cultural House designed by organic architect, Imre Makovecz, and Hild tér. Highlight at the stage by the river, the Vizikapú, at 9 pm is Hungarian classic band Magma Cum Laude. Expect funk rock. Tickets needed.
