Good night Mád! – no, this is no farewell, but a welcome – a wonderful night of music, wine and delicious dishes around the village of Mád, one of the most charming places in the Tokaj World Heritage region, and the village with the greatest number of truly high quality hospitality after significant investment in recent years. Truly a great opportunity to discover Mád wines at home in exceptional locations.

The wineries and restaurants open into the Saturday night to share their secrets… Enjoy live concerts, exceptional wines, unique venues, gastronomy and much more! Usuall a coproduction between societies including Mád Circle. The association was established in 2007 to work for designation of origin, with strict rules to assure the best possible grapes for exceptional wines. Wineries will be pouring Furmints, Hárslevelűs, many of them single-vineyards. Gastro treats include cheeses by master cheesemaker Sándor! Concerts and exhibitions, plus vineyard tours, craftsmen and women.

Other places to visit include the Jewish Cultural Information Centre in the former Rabbical school with its Kosher fair, the cellar labyrinth at Holdvölgy, the new café bars at the wineries.
