The village of Mád, and of course the superb hospitality providers, Első Mádi Borház, Gusteau and others, are excellent at creating programmes to give you great experiences and bring you closer to the wines, the terroir and the winemakers. And the case is the same for the Easter weekend starting with Saturday morning breakfast at the Első Mádi Borház café to set intrepid explorers up for a bicycle tour in the historic vineyards starting at 10 am before a 2-course lunch at the café from 12. At 2pm a vineyard walk with picnic and wine tasting :), followed by grill terrace and wine tasting on the café terrace.
Easter Sunday breakfast from 8 am with ham and eggs as the main feature. Another bike opportunity, and again lunch in the Első Mádi Borház, vineyard walk and picnic with a bogrács (wonderful Hungarian cauldron) party in Nőtelen Dűlő.
Easter Monday starts with a festive breakfast including the regional Easter favourite, sweet cottage cheese. Then another bicycle opportunity, this time to the Birsalmás vineyard – chance to see the goats too! The lunch and then Easter adventure in the vineyards with picnic and wines.
