The village of Erdőbénye in the Zemplén Mountains has become a pilgrimage place for wine lovers, gourmets and culture vultures!
Superb wines, the best local restaurants and food/drink bloggers and top Hungarian musicians in the gardens of the winemakers in the village. Enjoy tasting, dancing, crafts with live jazz, folk and world music, plus artists, artisans and performers, yoga and bike / canoe tours and much more. All with a great atmosphere. This superb festival is a cultural and gastronomic feast – hosted in the wonderful gardens of the winemakers of Erdőbénye.

Great wines, food and company. A brilliant festival in the Tokaj wine region! Some of Hungary’s top artists and musicians have visited and include Kiscsillag, Kerekes Band, Pátkai Rozina, Meszecsinka, Cabaret Medrano, Tóth Viktor, Jónás Vera Experiment. Mainly folk, jazz, blues, world and fusion. We’ll put up the programme as soon as we have it.
And if you fancy leaving the gardens of Erdőbénye winemakers to explore the area, then you can go rowing on the Bodrog or take a bike tour in the Zemplén. Plenty of tastings, talks (some in Polish and English), workshops, events for children. A great way to discover Tokaji wines and Zemplén flavours at around 13 Erdőbénye wineries usually with their favourite restaurants including the region’s classics: Anyukám Mondta, A Boros and Sárga Borház. Plus a couple of top coffee roasters and tea masters!

Accommodation in Erdőbénye generally gets booked fairly quickly. But the organisers open a temporary camping space by the football field for those who prefer to stay in beautiful Erdőbénye for the whole festival. See the website for details.
