In Sátoraljaújhely St John’s Eve open museum night (Múzeumok Éjszakája) lights the fire at 8 pm in preparation fro fire jumping at 11.30 pm. It also offers the chance to see the original Vizsolyi bible, the oldest surviving Hungarian translation of the bible (425 years old), as well as talks on the translation and early printing technology. The Kazinczy Ferenc Museum has music and lights will be turned out at midnight for a torchlight exploration of the museum.
