Children’s Day has a long history in Hungary – it’s one of the days in the year when children are to be completely indulged. And there are plenty of events to choose from! At the Festival Valley just outside Tokaj you can find face painting, bouncy castle and trampoline, plus a variety of competitions from sausage eating, throwing and apple bobbing as well as an extreme sport show and firemen and police demonstrations. Local arts and amateur school groups perform as well as Zumba enthusiasts and a fun performance by children’s band Gombóc Együttes to finish.
