Whit and St Urban’s Day celebrations with open cellar. Béres opens its heart, its cellar, stunning “terrace with a view” for tastings and fun every month.
In May the open day not only is about discovering the secrets of the estate, but also patron saint of winemakers, St Urban (HU: Szent Orbán), whose relics lie in Monok church. Every year, on the weekend nearest the saints day a replica is carried through the wine region with masses, open cellars and other festivities. here at Béres.
At 2 pm Melinda Béres, manager of the family-owned winery, will talk about St Urban, followed by live folk music from Zsindely between 3 and 5pm.
